BOOM! Studios is an independent comic book company founded in June 2005. Just four months after their first book was published, Wizard Magazine named them the Best New Publisher of 2005! Recently BOOM! Studios made a deal with Disney to produce comic books based on Pixar films and The Muppets. The first wave of books under this deal was published early 2009.
